IBF recognizes that the environment is a central business concern and that our manufacturing activities, products and services have potential Environmental Effects.

The objectives and targets will take in to consideration legal and other requirements, significant environmental aspects and they will consider both technical and financial options, and will include:

1. We will improve the environmental awareness of our employees. We will train, teach and coach them concerning applicable environmental issues related to the processes, using internal and external programmes where applicable.
    

2. We will also ensure that we make efficient use and reduce our raw materials including oils
    

3. We will also ensure that we make efficient use and reduce our use of energy.
    

4. We will reduce the amount of packaging that we use.
    

5. We will reduce the production of waste. We will recover and recycle materials where possible and justifiable.
    

6. Identify and seek to reduce the significant environmental aspects of our business and to prevent pollution.
    

7. We will prevent pollution through our procedures and management programmes, and comply with the relevant environmental legislation, and other requirements.
    

8. Work with our suppliers, sub-contractors and customers to improve our overall environmental performance and wherever feasible influence them to do likewise.
